Windmill woodcut

Woot! I FINALLY did it!!!

Please don’t ask me why I was looking (for real) for a woodcut of a windmill.

Just sent chocolate instead.

Dutch chocolate would be fine.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Battlestar Galactica?

No?

Well, I don’t _really_ love it, but I did really like it growing up, and tonight starts the new series. Here’s the message I got from Amazon about it:

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

As someone who has purchased science fiction movies and television series,
you might like to know that “Battlestar Galactica,” a new, original TV
series, will premiere Friday, Jan. 14, at 9/8C on the SCI FI Channel. This
new series picks up where the “Battlestar Galactica” miniseries left off,
delivering explosive action, breathtaking adventure, and edgy romance with
13 new episodes.

After engaging in a losing battle against the Cylon robots, humanity’s last
remnants have fled in search of a new home, a mythical planet called Earth.
With waning supplies, weapons, and hope, Commander Adama (Edward James
Olmos) and President Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell) realize that their
problems are far greater than the immediate threat of Cylons. On their
shoulders rests the very survival of humankind. The show reunites Olmos and
McDonnell with the rest of the “Galactica” cast, including Katee Sackhoff
(Starbuck) and Tricia Helfer (Number Six). And Richard Hatch, who starred
as “Apollo” in the original series, will make a special guest appearance in
an early episode of this new show as Peter Zarek, a political prisoner who
has spent the last 20 years in jail for inciting civil unrest against the
government of the 12 Colonies of Kobol. In the new world order, he and his
followers will riot against the leadership of the ragtag fleet, taking over
the vessel on which they are being held and creating a hostage situation
that Adama and President Roslin must resolve.

“Battlestar Galactica” premieres Friday, Jan. 14, at 9/8C on the SCI FI
Channel.
